Miracles of the Master

The purpose of this DVD set is twofold: first and foremost to bring biblical people and events to life - to put flesh and blood on the printed words of biblical reality. Second by experiencing these people we come face to face with our own personal struggles and journey with belief or unbelief as we encounter Jesus again.

Some literary creativity is used to enrich each of the characters and to piece together their stories but serious study has been done to stay true to both the biblical and historical reality.

The enclosed study guides and background materials can be used for individual reflection or for group discussion. You are encouraged to make copies of the discussion questions for group use as needed. Writing out your responses will give maximum meaning and impact to your follow-up study of these Miracles of the Master.

Dr. Richard Stenbakken has developed these original first person narrative presentations out of an intense interest in people both biblical and contemporary and how lives are changed by God's grace and indwelling Spirit.

Hundreds of hours of research study thought and costume construction have been done to be as accurate as possible. Dick draws from his own personal professional and educational backgrounds to bring these characters to authentic life. Dick's nearly 40 years of active ministry includes: pastoring 24 years as an active duty Army chaplain world-wide chaplaincy executive manager certified family therapist and graduate level educator. He holds four Master's degrees and a Doctor of Education degree. He has given presentations world-wide as well as at the Pentagon and the U.S. Senate.
