At the outbreak of war aged 17 Bob Smart left home in search of another world. The Mercantile Marine in which Bob began work as a radio officer suffered more loss of life than any of the other services in WWII. One in four merchant seamen perished. On two occasions - once in the Caribbean and once off Anzio - the war claimed ships on shich Bob served.
After surviving these and many other adventures Bob came home from the sea to the realisation that the real enemy had been war itself and the other world for which he had been searching was one in which Jesus Christ was King.
