En el Congreso de la Asociación General del 2005 la Iglesia Adventista publicó una nueva declaración doctrinal bajo el título El crecimiento cristiano. Por supuesto esta nueva exposición de la que ahora es nuestra Creencia Fundamental número 11 no conlleva la proclamación de una nueva verdad. En 2005 se presentó una nueva expresión a verdades que ya formaban parte de nuestro sistema de creencia.

Este libro constituye un comentario a los aspectos fundamentales que forman parte de esta nueva declaración doctrinal.
