John 3:16 has been called ?the Bible in miniature' and ?the Gospel in summary'. The author agrees but discovers the joy of the Gospel in all the 3:16s of the New Testament.
The author doesn?t preach to you; he doesn?t lecture you; he doesn?t talk down to you. He just chatters on about what he has found new and fresh and shares it with you. Sometimes you seem to forget exactly what it is he?s talking about until wham! It suddenly hits you that he has been talking about the Gospel all the time.
